Ok,
Sorry guys - but my fault Charlie didn't reply here yet (if you were waiting for an answer). I was stirring the pot a bit in that last post - and thankfully he gave me a call - and we went over some stuff (so no deep dark conspiracies to report - just the realities of shipping and being a large company with lots of i's to dot and t's to cross..) - and I took up his time for a while - until he had to go to bed at least (so no reply from him yet here)...
So just reporting on his behalf (that all's well and moving forward on the extender front) - and although it won't be 'overnight change' - the ball is rolling. Charlie will check in tommorow (his time) and add a reply with what he's 'allowed to say'..
If you've got some scenarios to share/highlight (as per the 'please be vocal bit') this is good - and it helps the guys in the MediaCenter team come up with the 'right' solution. (rather than the one that doesn't account for your needs).. so keep that coming.. (without stirring anyone up of course)...
