Thanks Charlie ... and we won't hold you personally responsible if you give us some honest answers..(you'll be the first one that does)..
The XBox360 was sold as an MCX v2 Extender a long time ago - and you guys got people to 'invest' into it (already) - for the connected home based on that... now it's falling behind the other v2 extenders with the codecs everyone wanted and expected..
The real problem is that nobody is talking.. and in the absence of actual answers there can only be speculation, perception and ultimately 'best guess' conspiracy theories.. and theres been very direct and specific questions fielded in the TGB forums - with 'dont ask me - I just work here' answers coming back... there's now also a clear seperation being stated on TGB between the Media Center Team and the 'Extender' team ... and that 'Ask Jessica' etc - is now suddenly become 'Ask Jessica - just not anything about Extenders or our previous promises because THAT team hasnt told us anything' ...
There used to be all this transparency with MediaCenter (in ye olde MCE2005 days) - now its just whitewashes and coverups (and 'we cant tell you that yet' etc etc).... and everything is more important than informing the public...
disappointing - but not directed at you (thanks for *not* pretending it didnt exist/happen)... and as I've mentioned before .. an honest 'sorry we screwed up' - 'here is whats REALLY going on' answer will get you tons more kodus than a 'we cant tell you that yet/ever' response.. or yet another 'please throw us your ideas (and we will toss them into a big black hole)' thread..
